Igloo building is one of the the most ancient building forms. You too will experience this incredible adventure. Available late November to late April - snow dependent.

Learn to build an igloo in a beautiful snow meadow. To begin, our expert guides will accompany you on a gentle snowshoe ascent to our chosen snow site, while you hear of the Inuit and their ancient nomadic history of igloo making.

The process of building will take about 4 to 5 hours and is a tremendous amount of fun. Learn how to choose a site, prepare the snow, and cut blocks to the right size. As the blocks are built up in spiral fashion you will be thrilled to see the incredible snow home you have built. A truly iconic experience!

The One Day Igloo Building Adventure

We will show you how to build an igloo right there on the mountain. In just 4 to 5 hours you will learn the basics and will have completed your very own igloo. Bring your own lunch and snacks and lots of water. Hot drinks and granola bars will be served while building. Call us and book now.

Overnight Igloo Camping

Hot drinks and light soups will be served while building, and when its all built, its time to dine in the snow kitchen. Few meals taste as good as dinner in a snow meadow under the stars before you sleep in your beautiful snow home.

We will plan an advance session with you and your group. At this session you will learn basics of igloo building and trip safety. We will also go through a checklist to ensure you are fully equipped.

The fantastic vistas you will see at this elevation will inspire you. You will feel the exhilaration and silence of the high mountains.
